Ok, in no particular order...
I'm back at Karate now... I signed back up and am likely to be contuining to do that for the rest of the time I'm in Idaho. (slightly less then two years now it looks like) It's an interesting experience being back, particularly for a few details... Mainly just the fact that it's amazingly strange to be at it again, and so out of shape at the same time. Running on the eliptical machine doesn't even remotely prepare you for what a good class can dish out. The sad part is, classes aren't even remotely as hard as they once were either. It's kinda funny to hear Hagood talk about it, but we don't have fighters at that school who are anywhere near as good as they ones we had ten years ago when I was last with the school. All the once great fighters have since either left, or gotten better at other sides of their martial arts. The techniques, kata, and overall knowledge is better then it ever has been, but in order to get where they are, the fighting has suffered amazingly. Everything has changed so much...
When I had first decided to come back to the school, I was kinda hoping to get Mr. Kerr for my instructor, and while I still think that would have been fun beyond reason, I think I'm happy with the way it turned out... Mr. Hagood claimed me when he heard I was coming back, and put me in a group private with Mr. Shaffer who is also back after being gone for the last six years. Shaffer was my instructor back when I left, and now getting to work with him is kind of a treat. I've always liked the man, despite his gruffness. I guess the best way to put it is if a bear was ever to evolve into a man, it would become Terry Shaffer, and bears are a pretty cool thing in my book... lol
I'm now successfully healed following my recent vascetomy, now it's just a matter of getting two months in a row where after testing, they find that I have no more sperm in my ejaculate... A very long winded and somewhat grotesque process, but when it's done I no longer have any worries about getting my wife pregnant, which would very likely kill her.
Work is going well, as I've been offically hired as a programmer, and can claim such on my resume. My full title at this point is "Software Development Engineer in Test", and it's a pretty cool thing to have for resume fodder. I'm hoping that after two years in this position I should have enough clout that it won't be too difficult to obtain work once we move to Ohio, but really I suppose that just depends on how the job market looks at that point. A few more years of Bush, and we may not be able to leave our current jobs for fear of never working again... but that's just random pessimisim.
Other then that, not a whole lot to report, the world continues to move in it's wide circle around the center of the galaxy... and my new druid on Doomhammer (World of Warcraft) should be 30 tonight, which means the ever sought after travel form... lol

And also very likely to cause her to kill you, which would be a tragedy all the way around.
